The Last Midnight: As the werebeast charged at Mud, Agana noticed a strange quivering from Tamsin's back. She tried not to get too distracted from it, but right as she was about to charge the beast, Relik had already beat her to the punch and was swinging down her own sword at the creature. The Last Midnight: Surprised, she didn't notice the Wabbajack suddenly freeing itself from Tamsin's back. The Last Midnight: With a bright flash of light, the Wabbajack cast an unknown spell towards her and Relik!
Dorktopus: Relik felt a pulsing of magic behind her. She stopped attacking, clumsily rolled out of the way of a swiping claw, and felt as if her body suddenly dissociated. Everything went black. And she didn't know how long she had been out as dull and muted colors began filling her vision again. She was lying on top of something soft (Agana) and whined loudly.
The Last Midnight: Agana cried out in fear, and shielded her eyes against the light. As she felt the magic work on her body, she wondered what the hell was going to happen and hoped to all the gods and daedra that she wasn't being turned into a sweet roll. The Last Midnight: With an OOMPH, she felt herself fall onto a hard, stone floor. A split second later, something heavy and metal landed on top of her. "ACK WHAT IN THE NINE-" she shouted as she tried rolling the object on top of her off. She turned and noticed it was Relik. "What the HELL, you stupid elf. Get OFF OF ME." She was starting to lose her temper, as she was denied a perfectly good and exciting fight with a werebeast.
Dorktopus: Relik rolled off her, and sat up quickly. "Why are you calling me stupid elf!" She demanded, rolling off when pushed and laying on her back on the ground. "I'm not stupid, Agi! We established this. I think." She huffed, and turned to stare at the Dunmer. "Maybe /you're/ stupid." The Last Midnight: Agana was about to shout back, when suddenly she noticed a pair of eyes appearing behind Relik. Then another pair. Then 10 more. Acting solely on instinct, she grabbed Relik and slammed her down on the floor, right as a spear shot through the air where they both were standing a moment before. With an irritated voice she made a shushing noise at Relik, hoping to gods she would understand and see the spear embedded somewhere behind where they now lay.
The Last Midnight: She wondered what small creatures were attacking them. And slowly realized they were not in the forest anymore...
Dorktopus: Oh, yes. She saw the spear. THAT was in her field of vision. The other things, however, were not. She remained still, resisting the urge to scoot closer to Agana. This dead place was unsettling. Where was Mud? And Mama Mastha? What had happened? "Agi," she whispered very, very quietly. "Where are we, Agi?"
The Last Midnight: "I'm....not sure. Where the hell is everyone else? And I think we're about to get attacked..." Agana whispered into Reliks ear. She squinted towards where the glowing eyes appeared, trying to figure out what they were about to face. "Do you sense with your weird magic eyes what's behind you right now? And can you "see" where everyone else is?"
Dorktopus: Relik shook her head. "I only see us in my vision. They're too far, Agi," She sat up, squinting. Then she flinched back, pressing against Agana as if the elf would protect her. "Sk-Skeletons!" She said. "Undead. I- Three." okay okay be calm they weren't hear yet but they were getting closer and one had a bow and others swords and they would get closer and Relik could feel her panic rising like a gyser, ready to explode. Her breath became harsh, and she slowly continued back away
The Last Midnight: Undead. She could handle undead. Now if this dumb elf could stop freaking out for 2 seconds, maybe she could actually be of use. Gritting her teeth, as she knew she might need the extra firepower in defeating these undead, she said in a strained voice, "It's ok. You....can do this. I....know you can. Just...." and resisting to urge to shout GET OVER IT, "beath and you'll be fine. Now help me cast some fire and LETS SET THINGS ON FIRE!" the last half of her sentence erupted into a war cry, as she was itching to actually fight and kill a thing. Or in this case, re-kill several things. The Last Midnight: She hoped her effort in calming down Relik would work. She had never talked to anyone or encouraged anyone in her entire life, and hoped she picked at least something right to say.
Dorktopus: A pep talk from Agana was the last thing Relik expected. She glanced up at the Dunmer, teary-eyed and terrified. Less enthusiastically, she followed Agana, hands raised as she drew in the magicka to summon flames. As one got close, she squeaked and shot off a spell early. The skeleton side stepped the fireball, and charged at Agana. The one with the bow fired an arrow.
The Last Midnight: Grateful that Relik at least tried to start fighting, Agana charged up towards the skeletons, axe raised. The fire blast from Relik had missed, but she wasn't gonna let that stop her. The arrow from the other skeleton hit her clean in her off handed shoulder, but it barely slowed her down. She channeled all of her rage into this one swing, and cleanly knocked one skeleton's head off its boney body. The Last Midnight: With a second swing, she hacked at its still moving body, crushing it with her entire weight. As the body crumpled down into a heap of bones, she stomped on it a final time with her foot. The Last Midnight: With a mad gleam in her eye, she turned towards the other skeletons ready to charge again. She hesistated, just in case Relik decided to shoot another fireball at one of them.
Dorktopus: Relik's confidence rose when she watched Agana cleanly and quickly kill a skeleton. She walked forward, keeping the skeletons within her diminishing line of sight. Another fireball went off, engulfing a shot arrow, and the skeleton. When the flames vanished, it's arms were gone, and it's ribs were brittle as charcoal. Relik chukled nervously. She was doing it and OH GODS THERE WAS ANOTHER RIGHT THERE - and another fireball was shot off, skimming Agana and exploding on the ground near the skeleton's feet.
The Last Midnight: "Watch it!" Agana shouted at Relik. She raised her axe arm, as the one that got shot was now bleeding heavily and slowly losing feeling, and smashed into the skeleton that Relik had damaged. With a crack, the brittle bones shattered easily, and it crumpled to the ground defeated. Now there was only one damn skeleton left. Suddenly, she had a brillent idea. "RELIK, WHEN I SAY NOW, SHOOT A FIREBALL OK?" The Last Midnight: She focused her magic on herslef, and lit herself on fire, and with a roar, she charged towards the creature, her entire being and axe all on fire. "NOW!"
Dorktopus: Relik raised her hand, and her lower lip trembled. "I can't see far, agi! Where do I-" Oh! Agana was on fire and that meant- Relik stepped forward, keeping her in her sights, and let off a final fireball
The Last Midnight: The fireball collided with Aganas body, but as the magic of her ancestors protected her from the ferocious flames, it propelled her forward and caused the fire already dancing around her body to turn a searing hot white, and like a comet, she was shot into the skeleton with full force and landed a killing blow with her axe.
Dorktopus: Relik stood very still, ears up and listening. Her sight had diminished incredibly, and she couldn't even see Agana anymore. "Are they dead?" She called out. "Are there more?"
The Last Midnight: Standing over the ashes of the last skeleton, Agana stood up and looked around. There had been more skeletons, but after seeing an angry elf on fire charging at them, they had fled. "They're all dead!" she shouted back. Now, to figure out where the hell they were. She looked around at their surroundings. From what she saw, they definitely were not in Cyrodiil anymore
Dorktopus: Well, Relik heard her. So she walked over to where Agana was and stood far too close to her. "Everything here is dead," she said. "Except us."
The Last Midnight: "What? what do you mean everything is DEAD? There's got be at least some stupid town in wherever we are...right?" The Last Midnight: Again, she looked around the landscape. Something seemed awfully familiar about this place, but she couldn't place it...
Dorktopus: Relik shrugged, and slowly attempted to slip her hand in Agana's. It was comforting, feeling the heat of another person so close. "I dunno. I don't see it. Just what I see... the ground, the rocks... It's all dead." The Last Midnight: With a frown, Agana strained her memory. Why was this place so familiar to her? She knew she's never visited this place before hand, so why did this place feel like the fading echo of a nightmare she once had? As she was thinking, she didn't notice the hand slipping into her palms.
The Last Midnight: She surveyed the area they were around once again, and with a sigh and a shrug, she turned to Relik, "I think we should at least start walking around. Maybe we can figure out where that stupid Wabbajack sent us and find a way out of here. I don't like this place at all..." and that's when she noticed the hand. With a start, she attempted to pull away from Relik.
