Psyra paced back and forth in their room. It was almost time for them to embark in their next mission, and they were as unsure as ever about the implications that this could possibly bring to the Thalmor controlled empire.
Their target: a unsuspecting Argonian who lived in the Imperial City. He would look innocent enough, sources told them, but he secretly is working with a few mages and possibly the few Blades left in existence to conspire against the Thalmor. Either way, it was not good. It was best to capture and interrogate him as soon as possible, and then eliminate him in quiet. Anyone working with the Blades, well...set all the Thalmor on edge. They had thought they wiped them out years ago, but a few still managed to survive: like stubborn mudcrabs, always there waiting and lurking, ready to pinch at your heels when you least expect it.
Psyra furrowed their brow, feeling like they were forgetting something. They had their armor on, fitted just right for sneaking and slinking in the dark. It almost resembled the Dark Brotherhoods attire, but far less sinister and dark looking. Instead, it had the bright and regal colors of the Thalmor instead of the evil black and red.
Ah ha!
At the last thought, they finally remembered what they had forgotten. It was a small red seal, one used by the Blades they had obtained years ago, and they would be using it to forge a few letters to this unsuspecting Argonian to lure them out of their hideaway. Yes, this plan was thought up by Coremo, their handler, and of course, it was perfect. Just like everything the Thalmor came up with, they thought and nodded to themself.
At that thought, they heard a knock on their door. Perhaps Coremo was ready, awaiting for them to head out. Psyra almost never went out without their handler, Coremo. When they were actively doing missions, yes they were alone. But he was always nearby, either at the local inn or keeping a low key presence just outside of the town they were sent to. He was to keep her in check, and make sure they stayed on task.
He was the Leader; Psyra was his Shadow.
