Questions about Burb World can be asked here! It's still hella under construction, and I'm gonna be posting a lot more info in the main thread soon!

so, u were all ?? about races. outside of giving people variation in looks and stuff to make, what do u think the purpose would be, especially on a small island? u said they were relatively peaceful, and usually when u get different races, there's some strife or prejudices or stereotypes that come w it. IDK JUST MUSING AND STUFF.

Well in regards to races, I was thinking that maybe there are other races in other lands away from the Burb Island? Though that would make things more complicated and stuff haha. I'd have to really think on that one. For now, I wanna focus on developing the Beeb Island People and Society, but the idea of other races could be interesting. I just don't want my main plot to be "unknown race from another land enters Beeb Island and corrupts/kills/etc the people of the island and bring strife and conflict". It'd be too cliche and boring, IMO. In my head, though, if I did really want to branch out and expand this world, maybe there would be like...an underwater race, as well as an earth dwelling race. Then it'd be the three races, like Sky, Earth, Water. Though idk if that's a good idea or not. :V Then my brain kinda merged together the Legend of the Four Holy Beasts RP I was thinking up with Buggy with this and having the Four Holy Beasts be the ruling forces behind each race? ? But then that'd be hella complicated and I already need to develop Beeb World alone first, aaaaaa! @___@ BUT if there were a variation of races on the islands, it could serve as a bonding tool between those who can use limited wind/telekinesis magic and those who cannot. I don't see there to be much difference in who can use or can't be born with the ability. So for example, elves and humans who use magic are friends and it isn't seen as necessarily a bad or weird thing? Though having some sort of stereotype/prejudices could be interesting to mix in with non-magic users towards the magic users? Either way, a conflict and discourse needs to happen at some point, and it's been something I've been thinking about the last week. Outside forces causing conflict is something I kinda want to avoid for now at least, so I need to figure out a way to have conflict come from within, or from the Island itself. :V
