Personality: Firecracker. Kerin is ready for any challenge life may throw at her and will face it head on. She does not take lightly to bullies or people who think they deserve something from her when they don't. She'll speak her mind, and is ready to back her words up with action if need be. She is, however, nervous of how other people will take her poverty and treat her knowing she is poor and parentless. She hides a lot of insecurities with fighting words and truant behavior. While alone, she may be paralyzed by nerves. But in front of other people, she is quick to prove how amazing she is.
Background: Her parents having died in a burglary when she was little, Kerin and her brother Troi were passed off to a local orphanage, where they grew up. They learned to fend for themselves and did pretty well. She met Kaiden when they were young, and the two have been inseparable since. She isn't too keen about people knowing where she lives and will keep a lot of things to herself. Currently, she works in an arcade several nights out of the week and sometimes steals what she needs if she can't get by.

Personality: Ronai seems like a lazy person. Always sleeping in class, not doing homework. But ey just wants something to interest em. Things like dancing, language, and culinary arts are things ey will throw emself in. Ey does not speak English very well, and doesn't seem to mind not understanding a lot of things. Laid back, easy going, so long as someone doesn't want to fight, ey is mild tempered and pretty unflappable.
Background: Not much is known about Ronai, mainly because of communication difficulties. Eir host family is Seta, and ey can be seen around her a lot, hovering behind her. Through her, one can learn that Ronai's family sent em over here to further eir education and that ey is supposed to take a powerful position when ey gets older.
Extra Information: Ey is an exchange student from across the seas, and only speaks polish.

Personality: Angry, on edge, and skittish, he has trouble making friends and meeting people. Raised in very poor conditions, he has very little respect for things. People, thankfully, he is willing to observe more carefully. He has very little patience for people who can't understand him, and can break down quickly when he gets frustrated. A lot of the fits he goes into is due to discomfort, fear, or over-stimulation and not being able to do something about it. He only has a five year old's resilience to such things, and while he can handle it for a while, a break down can be imminent.
Background: Gale and his brother Rook were in an abusive household for the first 5 years of their lives. They were treated like animals before being sent off to Omaron's adoptive parents house with documentation and a letter basically saying they were half-siblings to their new son and to do what they thought best. The best thing they decided upon was adoption. While Gale does like the new place, it's difficult adjusting, and he is prone to lashing out, temper tantrums, and screaming.
Extra Information:
*Has Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia. He can understand speech, but cannot form his own words easily. His communication is usually non-verbal (ear twitching, hand motions, exaggerated facial expressions) combined with grunts, whistles, squeals, groans, ect. Very rarely will he attempt to talk, as the gibberish is a source of shame for him. Especially since everyone else talks so easily.
*Due to sensitive hearing, smell, and sight, Gale is prone to over-stimulation quite often. The scarf/hoodie Omaron knitted for him helps in calming.
*Can be triggered by a great many deal of things, and needs patience when someone helps him work through it.
Appearance: Short, twiggy, and rugged. He has a mop of dark brown hair that falls into his gold eyes and dark skin that bears scars from his previous life. Dirty nails, tiny fingers, and wide eyes.

Personality: Kaiden is extremely out-going and lives for the well-being of others. Altruistic and forgiving, she tries to think of the best of people. A great listener and extremely patient, she is extremely gifted at making friends. However, there is fear that comes with being a trans woman of color. She spends a lot of time on her appearance and clothes, doing her best to pass every day. She gets scared correcting people, but will gently do it. If she feels uncomfortable, she will go to great pains to either avoid someone or only be around them when a close friend is close by.
Background: Dropped off at the orphanage at as a baby, Kaiden has no memory of family. She grew up there, and has always taken care of others. A lot of her free time goes into helping around the orphanage, but she also works at the same arcade Kerin does, and uses all the money she gets for hormone therapy. She is forever thankful of being on the orphanage's health plan, and is terrified of when that day will end. She hides it well, however.

Personality: Curiosity is a ruling factor in Rook's life. Anything that strikes his fancy he will unabashedly inspect and examine until he deems he knows everything about it. He seems to hold no ill-will whatsoever to people, and has very bad habits of approaching strangers. He is very touchy, very loving and rather benevolent in his own way. He has trouble concentrating on things and gets distracted easily whether by smells, noises, or sights. Rook needs to stim when nervous, and has a habit of petting a dragon toy and running a finger over the button eye. He has trouble with eye contact and sometimes flaps his hands when he speaks.
Background: Rook was side-by-side his brother in an abusive household, and was more protected than protective. Following Gale to Omaron's house was difficult, but making it and getting adopted as well has been a big improvement in his life.
Extra Information: Rook is Gale's 'is this person safe to approach' measurement tool. Hurt Rook, and there will be two angry children after you.
Sometimes forgets to eat. But if food is placed in front of him, he will devour it all.

Personality: Agana has a very strong headed personality, and is usually angry. She has little tolerance for others and is more comfortable being on her own. She has major trust issues, but will open up if she suspects that someone is genuine and caring. That process takes a very, very long time though. However, if you betray her, expect her to never ever forgive and forget it. She loves a good physical fight, and likes to push herself in track whenever she can. She holds the school record for fastest 100 meter dash, but tries to shrug it off as no big deal. On the inside, she is very proud of that accomplishment.
Background: Her parents hail from the island of Guam, and are decedents of the Chamorro people, who were the indigenous people of the island before being taken over from foreigners. They moved away in order to provide a better and more varied opportunity for themselves and for their future children. Several years later, Agana was born. However, Agana lost her parents at the age of 10, when they disappeared after a mysterious man came to pick them up in a limo one winter. Since then, they have not been heard of and the police are still searching for them. She misses her parents dearly, but for now she is kept in an orphanage until they find her parents or can be adopted by others.
Extra Information: Agana is a pyromaniac and always carries around several lighters and a few boxes of matches. Where she gets them no one knows, but it is suspected she just steals them from local gas stations on the way to school. She also likes to sneak into the weight lifting room used by the football team after school and work out. She wants to keep ahead of the bullies and stay strong, out of fear that being weak would lead to a similar fate as her parents: disappearance, and being forgotten, or worse, dead. Agana is fluent in Chamorro, but barely speaks it at all around others for fear of being made fun of. Her parents were determined to pass on their culture to her and not let it die. She speaks it to herself when she feels lonely, or at times when her longing for her parents to come back overwhelms her and causes her to lock herself in a closet or the attic of the orphanage and cry to herself. Once or twice she has purposely burned herself in an act of self harm, but has yet to have a repeat incident. It only occurred during the times when she would lock herself away to cry.
Appearance: Agana is of medium build, and has a fair amount of muscles. Her skin is a dark olive brown, and she has a shoulder length black hair. Her uniform has one or two holes where she got a little too careless with her fire, but it doesn't really bother her much.
